Rita – Office Manager
Rita’s compassion, kindness, empathy, and not to mention, experience, contribute to making our office a warm, caring, and family oriented practice.
Rita started her dental career over 40 years ago as a dental assistant, trained by a very patient, compassionate, “old school general dentist”. After several years, Rita was trained for front office, where she ran both the front and back areas of the practice for 15 years.
After getting married and moving to Walnut Creek, Rita worked again in a general dental office, as both assistant and front office. After buying their first home in Concord, Rita began working as front office, as well as an assistant when needed, for an orthodontic practice in Moraga. Upon moving back to the peninsula, Rita furthered her experience in the dental field as an assistant in a periodontal office in San Mateo. Following the birth of her daughter, Rita pursued a new venture in the dental field. For the next 8 years, Rita worked at a family owned independent dental supply house in San Bruno. Along with administrative assistant duties, Rita assisted with orders from dental offices, not only taking orders, but filling each order personally. Rita was also responsible for managing and handling all CA State purchase orders from various correctional facilities, state hospitals, colleges, and private schools. At the same time, Rita also collaborated with several colleges assembling RDA kits that would be purchased by students for their practical examinations. Since 2009, Rita has been back in the dental office as a front office person and occasional assistant in South San Francisco.
Rita is a native Californian who was born and raised in Burlingame and attended local schools in the area. She now lives in San Mateo with her husband and daughter. Rita enjoys cooking, gardening, and at the present, helping in planning her daughter’s upcoming wedding.
